  1. 7 days

    The classic in 7 days

    Bogotá, Medellín, and Cartagena

The three most visited cities, linked by air. For a first trip: the capital and its museums, the Medellín of cable cars and neighborhoods, a day at the Guatapé reservoir, and the walled city on the Caribbean.

  2. 10 days

Coffee and Antioquia in 10 days

    from Salento to Medellín

The Coffee Cultural Landscape and the capital of Antioquia: Salento and the Valle del Cocora, Manizales with its hot springs and its coffee, and Medellín with a day in Guatapé. You fly in to Pereira and leave from Medellín. With two more days, add Jardín: Rápido Ochoa takes 3 hours from Medellín’s Terminal del Sur (Oct. 2026).

  3. 14 days

    The Caribbean in 14 days

    from Cartagena to Palomino

Overland, from west to east: walled Cartagena and its islands, Barranquilla, Santa Marta, the mountains of Minca, Tayrona, and the beaches of Palomino. You fly in to Cartagena and leave from Santa Marta; according to ProColombia, the flight between Bogotá and Santa Marta takes approximately an hour and a half.

  4. 21 days

The grand route in 21 days

    from Bogotá to the Caribbean

The three previous routes in a single trip: Bogotá, the Coffee Region (Eje Cafetero), Manizales, Medellín and Guatapé, Cartagena and its islands, Tayrona, and Palomino. You arrive through Bogotá and leave from Santa Marta: from Palomino to Santa Marta, Unitransco takes 1 hr 40 min (Pinbus, Oct. 2026).

  5. 7 days

    The Pacific in 7 days

    Nuquí, Utría, and El Valle

Rainforest that reaches the sea, hot springs and, in season, humpback whales, which arrive from June to October according to ProColombia and Parques Nacionales (Bahía Solano chapter). There is no road from the interior: you fly in to Nuquí and leave from Bahía Solano, from where Clic lists a 1-hour flight to Medellín’s Olaya Herrera airport (Oct. 2026). When you enter Bahía Solano, you pay its tourism contribution.

  6. 6 days

The Amazon River in three stops: Leticia, Mocagua’s community ecotourism in PNN Amacayacu, and Puerto Nariño, the car-free town, with the Tarapoto lakes. From the interior of the country, you can only get there by plane.

  7. 4 days

Boyacá on a 4-day long holiday weekend

    Villa de Leyva and Iguaque

For a long weekend from Bogotá: the colonial town, its fossils, and the sacred lake of Iguaque. Iguaque asks you to book at least 5 business days in advance. If you’re driving, Ráquira is about 35 minutes from Villa de Leyva (Ráquira chapter).
